We've found that this occurs most commonly with images rotated in the Mac OS.

Different devices and computer programs will handle rotation differently. Your image may contain metadata that tells a program to perform a rotation when displaying it and not all programs will recognize that information consistently.

If you are experiencing this issue:

  • You will need to adjust the image orientation on your computer before uploading it back into Brandboom.
  • We recommend opening the image in a program that saves the image dimensions as it is shown to ensure correct handling.
  • If the issue persists, you can try rotating and saving it on the computer the "wrong way" and then rotating back to the upright position and save it again.
