Why is Brandboom phasing out/sunsetting Connect?
Brandboom Connect has been an amazing AI-driven tool that has helped thousands of brands connect with thousands of buyers, and created new, long-lasting relationships. At Brandboom, we strive every day to improve our product and deliver even better results for our customers. We are sunsetting Connect because we have evolved newer and better offerings beyond the capabilities of the current Connect system.
Will this affect my Startup/Business monthly or annual plan?
No. There will be no changes to the core platform which includes line sheets/lookbooks, order management, inventory, integrations, etc... This is only for the Connect Marketplace that helps with finding you new buyers. We're simply removing this feature and are replacing it with an alternative (see below).
What can Brandboom do to help me find new buyers?
Brandboom has created new marketplace offerings that provide more focus, choice, and possibilities for buyers and sellers. We've listened to your feedback, and created destinations specific to buyer needs and wants.
To start, we have the all-new Brandboom Marketplace. With a completely re-designed look and feel, Brandboom Marketplace is the best way for buyers to shop and discover brands. Buyers can search by category, themes, keywords, and more. We also provide secure checkout facilities (including a net 60 option for buyers) and guarantee payment to sellers once your order has been delivered.
Brandboom Kids Marketplace will also be launching in Q2 of 2024.
How do I join Brandboom Marketplace?
Whether you're a buyer or a seller, you can check out Brandboom Marketplace here (https://www.brandboom.com/marketplace). Buyers can apply for access, and our team will request full verification of credentials before being allowed in. Sellers can simply log in to their Brandboom portal and click on the 'Marketplaces' tab to submit their brand for consideration.
What categories does Brandboom Marketplace support?
We allow men's and women's apparel, accessories, footwear, and anything adjacent or in the realm of these kinds of products. As a seller, you can get a sneak peek of brands on the marketplace here (https://www.brandboom.com/marketplace). If you're unsure, please feel free to ask our Support team, or speak to your Account Manager.
What if my category isn't listed?
We're working to support more categories as soon as possible! What we're conscious of is creating the best possible experience for the categories we work with. Apart from Brandboom Marketplace, we are launching a kids-specific marketplace in early 2024. Want to request or follow up on the status of another category? When is Connect phasing out?
Brandboom Connect will be sunset on February 29th, 2024. Between now and then the following events will occur:

New presentations will not be accepted after February 1, 2024

Existing presentations can be edited until February 29, 2024 however, re-approvals may take longer than usual

Open orders will still be valid after we close the service and will be charged accordingly if orders are finalized
-
No new proposals will be sent
- Unopened proposals will be closed
- All marketing of Connect will cease
