Change My Email Address

Replace Email vs. Swap User

If you are looking to have a new person take your place, we recommend against changing the original user's email to a new email. Instead, we recommend inviting them to Brandboom as a new user and requesting that the new user be swapped into place. We can assist you with putting them into the same showrooms and giving them all of the same permissions. This is ideal if you wish to keep order associations with the original users and to avoid confusion.

Change Email

If you decide to change the email on your login instead, you can do so in your Account Settings, under Profile.

Note: If the new email address is already being used by another account on Brandboom, either as a Buyer or as a Seller, it will not be available. If you are the owner of the email and wish to delete your own account, please contact Support for assistance.

Once you've entered a new, valid email, you will receive a request for confirmation by email. Click the link in the email to confirm the request and to proceed with the email change.

Error Message: Email Has Already Been Taken

If you are changing the email address for your login and see this error message, it means another login is currently using this email.

If you own this email and want to make it available again, there are a few options:

  • Free up the email yourself

Log in as that user, using that email address. Change the email on that login to another, unused email, thereby freeing up the desired email for use.

  • Request deletion of login using the desired email

Contact Support to request the deletion of that login. If you previously used that login, double-check that there is no important information that will be lost. We will need to confirm ownership of the login before proceeding.

  • Swap logins moving forward

Contact Support to swap places between logins. Instead of reclaiming the email from another login, use that login moving forward and abandon the current login. Since each login has different permissions, we will need to review all the settings that need to be transferred over.
