International Shipping Label Flow

Before You Begin:

  • Make sure Shippo is connected to your BrandBoom account. If you haven't done so, follow the instructions here.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Create an Order and Invoice:

    • Start by creating an order in your BrandBoom account. Once the order is created, generate an invoice.

    • Ensure the recipient is in a different country from your seller account. This will initiate the international shipping label process.

    • You'll notice the international flow because you'll need to provide extra information for each product, such as:

      • Weight

      • Country of Origin

      • HS Code (must be at least 6 digits)

  2. Fill in the Customs Options Section:

    • International shipments require additional customs information. Look for the new Customs Options section and fill it out completely to avoid any shipping issues.

  3. Save and Get Shipping Rates:

    • After all sections are properly completed and saved, a list of shipping rates will be displayed. This process is similar to the one used for domestic shipments.

  4. Generate and Download the Shipping Label:

    • Once you purchase a shipping rate, the shipping label will be available for download.

    • Note: For certain carriers (e.g., UPS), you will see a "Commercial Invoice" button after purchasing the label. This button will not appear for carriers like DHL Express or USPS.

    • Click the "Commercial Invoice" button to open a new page with a PDF of the commercial invoice required for international shipments. Ensure all details match the information you provided.

By following these steps, you can successfully create shipping labels for international orders.
