Set up Custom Integration with Brandboom

This article provides a guide for businesses looking to build custom integrations with Brandboom using its API. This allows you to connect various aspects of Brandboom with your existing internal systems. The process involves setting up a sandbox environment for testing before moving to a live account, requiring coordination with Brandboom Support and ensuring your account meets the necessary plan requirements.

How-to

If your business has built or is able to build integrations between your various systems (usually internally), you can add Brandboom to your technology stack. Our Brandboom API will allow you to connect various parts of Brandboom to your systems. To enable this, please follow these steps:

For Sandbox Setup (Testing Environment):

  1. Refer to the Brandboom API Documentation at for reference.

  2. Contact Support and request a sandbox account to test before connecting with your live account. If you are a new user, please provide us with the desired login email you would like to use for the sandbox.

  3. Confirm the sandbox API setup on the "Settings" page.

  4. Set Up Showroom Connections.

  5. Test the integration's functions on both your platforms and the Brandboom sandbox.

Once you're ready to connect to your live account, follow these next steps:

  1. Make sure your Account is upgraded to the Business Plan.

  2. Request API Keys and authorization from Support.

  3. Confirm the initial API setup on the "Settings" page.

  4. Set Up Showroom Connections.

  5. Test the integration's functions on both your platforms and Brandboom.

  6. Done!
