Ship Windows and How to Use It
Add even more granular options for your retailers to purchase inventory from specific, future ship dates.
Overview
Ship Windows replaces the generic "Inventory" label with specific, date-driven delivery timeframes. This feature gives you precise control over your stock by allowing you to categorize products based on when they are actually ready to ship - whether that is "At-Once," "Future," or a custom date range.
By grouping your inventory this way, you remove the guesswork for your customers. Whether they are buying immediate stock or pre-ordering for a future season like Spring 2026, Ship Windows ensure that delivery timelines are clear, organized, and transparent for both you and your buyers.
Ship Window Rules:
1. Full Month: If a ship window exists for a full month (e.g., "Dec 2025"), the system prevents creating another window for that same month.
2. Partial Month: Multiple ship windows can exist for the same month if they are designated as specific sections, such as "Early" (1st–10th), "Mid" (11th–20th), or "Late" (21st–30th/31st)
How-to
How to Set Ship Windows:
1. Click on "Ship Windows" under products page.

2. Click "New" or "Add Ship Windows"

3. Select a date for your Ship Window and choose a title. Hit Save.

4. You can now upload your SKUs and QTY for this specific ship window. Download the sample template, add the products you want associated with this ship window, and upload it into Brandboom.

5. If you want to add the units manually on Brandboom, you can go back to the products page, select the products and go to the SKU tab. Select the specific ship window and add units to the SKUs.

NOTES:
1. If there is no inventory for a specific SKU, it will be displayed as "N/A" in the product tile and the product cannot be ordered. This differs from "Future" no inventory entered allows infinite ordering.
2. Clean Up feature will remove products from a ship window if every associated SKU has a quantity of zero.

3. Archiving Ship Windows will remove them from presentation settings and buyer options.
4. Once a Ship Window has passed, you will need to manually archive the window. Any inventory remaining for that Ship Window will need to be manually added to your At-Once inventory number.
Using Ship Windows in Presentations
Sellers can configure ship windows in the presentation settings under “Enable Ordering.” Keep in mind that choosing a custom ship window will automatically deselect Future inventory (and vice versa), but “At-Once” can be used together with either option.
Any ship windows with dates earlier than today are automatically hidden from view.
