Payments on Brandboom
How to accept payment for orders on Brandboom including options such as Stripe Standard and Stripe Express.
Overview
When your buyers place orders on Brandboom, you have several options for collecting payment directly on the platform, depending on how the order is placed. The main options are Stripe Express and Stripe Standard.
Stripe Express (Marketplace/Slope Net 60)
This is the newest payment option on Brandboom. It is a mandatory requirement for facilitating payments for marketplace orders and those using Slope Net 60. Eligible users can take advantage of the following features:
- Guaranteed payment: Receive guaranteed payment for orders placed on the Brandboom Marketplace.
- Slope Net 60: Offer and accept Slope Net 60 payments for eligible buyers on non-marketplace orders.
- Payments on Brandboom via Stripe Express provide an elevated and more secure experience for sellers.
- Buyers can pay via credit card or Instant Bank payments
Stripe Standard (Platform)
Stripe Standard, previously labeled "Stripe" and "Stripe Direct," is a direct credit card payment option typically used for non-marketplace orders. This is a direct integration with Stripe that acts as a pass-through from Brandboom to your bank account. Important features and notes include:
-
Stripe Standard is currently available in over 145 countries.
-
It does not allow Slope Net 60 payments or access to Brandboom Marketplace.
-
Brandboom cannot assist with disputes for transactions using Stripe Standard.
- Buyers can pay via credit card and ACH.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. What's the difference between Marketplace and non-Marketplace orders?
A Marketplace order is a purchase a buyer makes through a specific portal like the Brandboom Marketplace. Brandboom helps with finding new buyers, and sometimes a buyer you have worked with before may rediscover you on this platform.
-
Every Marketplace order is subject to a commission fee.
-
Brandboom collects payment from the buyer via credit card or Slope Net 60.
-
Brandboom guarantees payment to you after successful delivery.
-
Brandboom assists with payment disputes.
Non-Marketplace orders are placed directly with you by buyers you know, typically through a share link, or by you or a sales rep. You can get paid via:
-
PayPal or Stripe Standard (transaction fees apply).
-
Stripe (Link) allows ACH payments.
-
Slope Net 60 (requires Stripe Express and a commission fee for the loan).
- External systems like Square, ApparelMagic, or Shopify, as well as cash or check. Note that Brandboom cannot provide support for these transactions.
2. What if I am not in an eligible country for Stripe Express?
You still have access to our Stripe Standard integration, which allows you to accept credit card and ACH payments for your orders.
3. If I have Stripe Express, how do I accept credit card payments for non-marketplace orders?
Stripe Express is not available for non-marketplace orders. You will need to set up Stripe Standard, which only takes a few minutes.
4. What is Stripe Link?
Stripe Link is a secure digital wallet provided by Stripe that allows buyers to store their credit cards and Bank account number and use them across multiple platforms, similar to Apple Pay.
