Set Up Stripe Standard for Invoicing

How to set up Stripe Standard in Brandboom for invoice payments, whether Stripe is required, and what to know about fees and refunds. Stripe is optional if you collect payments another way.

Stripe is not required to use Invoicing in Brandboom. You can add the Invoicing feature and collect payments however you like. However, if you want to accept credit card payments online through Brandboom, you will need to connect a Stripe account.

For Stripe transaction fees and current pricing, see Stripe’s pricing page. Note that refunding through Brandboom can only be done with transactions processed through Stripe.


Set Up Stripe Standard

You can find the Invoicing & Payment Settings on your Account Page, under Settings > Payment (Platform).

  1. When you click on “Set Up,” you will be taken to a signup/login page.

  2. If you already have a Stripe account, click “Sign in” in the upper right corner.

  3. Once you are connected to Stripe Standard, the “Set Up” button will be replaced with a Stripe Connect Key value to confirm the connection.

  4. Now, on newly generated invoices, you will see a Stripe Standard checkbox and a Stripe Standard option in the Payment Method dropdown list when clicking “Add Payment.”
