Set Up a Domain for Private Invites

Set up your domain for Brandboom Private Invites by adding the domain, choosing a default email, updating DNS records, and waiting for verification so invites can send from your brand email address.

How-to

To invite users privately to a presentation you created, you will first need to connect your domain to Brandboom. Then, you will be able to send private share links. To begin:

  1. Go to your account settings and click on “Integrations”.

Account settings with the Integrations option
  2. Click on “Domain” > “Add Domain”, and a DNS records window will pop up.

Domain settings with the Add Domain button and DNS records window
  3. Enter your domain and select your default email, then click “Save”.

Add Domain form with domain and default email fields
  4. All necessary details will appear in the pop-up window, and you will need to configure your domain’s DNS settings and fill out the information so our system can verify. You will need access to your host (i.e. GoDaddy, BlueHost, Squarespace, etc.) and any relevant domain and site security platforms (i.e. Cloudflare) you might use, then you will need to update your records. You or your IT manager will have access to these settings.

Once entered, verification should be quite fast, however, depending on your service(s) please allow a few minutes to a few hours for records to propagate.

NOTE: Feel free to set up a call if you need help with setting up your domain.
