Update Inventory in Bulk with a Spreadsheet

Update Brandboom inventory in bulk by editing an exported product spreadsheet or using the Inventory Template, then importing the file through the Update SKU Inventory workflow.

Use a spreadsheet to update inventory counts for many products in bulk. You can either edit an exported product file or use Brandboom’s dedicated Inventory Template.


Method 1: Using an Exported Product File

If you have already exported your product list, you can update your inventory directly in that file.

  1. Fill out the exported Excel file’s “Inventory” column on the right side of the spreadsheet.

  2. Import the new inventory back into Brandboom. Go back to the Products page, click the “Import” icon in the top-right corner, and select “Update SKU Inventory”.

  3. A window will pop open where you can drop your Excel file.

  4. Select your mapping preference, or choose the default option if you are not sure, then click next.

  5. Review your fields, make sure they are correct, and click import.

Method 2: Using the Inventory Template

You can also download the dedicated “Inventory Template” to upload inventory numbers for your products.

  1. Click the “Import” icon in the top-right corner of the page and select “Download Sample Files”.

  2. A window will pop open. Select “Upload SKUs Template” and click Download.

  3. Open the template and fill out the columns. Enter the product information and inventory count, then save your spreadsheet.

  4. Return to the Import Products window, select “Update SKU Inventory”, and import your file.
