Create and Link Customers with ApparelMagic

Learn how to create a customer in Brandboom, link it to ApparelMagic with the required code and email fields, and handle limitations for customers with multiple shipping locations.

1. You can also create new customers on Brandboom manually by clicking on “+ New Customer” on your Customer page.

2. The new customer window will appear and you can add all the buyer’s information. Code and email address are required in order to link it to ApparelMagic.

3. Click on “Save & Link” to link this customer to ApparelMagic.

4. The customer is now synced to ApparelMagic. You can view the customer in ApparelMagic by clicking on the icon next to the ApparelMagic ID.

Please make sure to select a Division, AR Account, and Category for your customer as well, and these will be synced to ApparelMagic.

NOTE: If the customer is already linked to ApparelMagic and you need to make changes to their information, update it in both ApparelMagic and Brandboom, or update it in ApparelMagic and import the customer again into Brandboom.


Customers with Multiple Shipping Locations on Brandboom

As Brandboom and ApparelMagic’s customer systems are too different, Brandboom can only link 1 address or location to ApparelMagic. Multiple shipping locations with the same customer code cannot be linked.

To link the other locations, you’d have to change the customer code on Brandboom and then link it to ApparelMagic.
