Create, Save, and Link a New Customer from an Order with ApparelMagic

Learn how to create a new customer from the Orders page, save and link the record, sync it to Apparel Magic, and handle later customer updates in both systems.

NOTE: Orders are not automatically associated with the customer information saved in your Customers List.

To manually associate an order to a specific customer, open the Order Form and click “Choose a Customer”. You can then select the customer you already have or click on “Create New.”

1. Once you click on “Create New”, the customer window will appear. Add or update the buyer’s information and click on “Save and Link.”

2. The customer is now synced to Apparel Magic. You can view the customer in Apparel Magic by clicking on the icon next to the Apparel Magic ID.

Please make sure to select a Division, AR Account, and Category for your customer as well, and these will be synced to Apparel Magic.

NOTE: If the customer is already linked to Apparel Magic and you need to make changes to their information, update it in both Apparel Magic and Brandboom, or update it in Apparel Magic and import the customer again into Brandboom.
